Explain why dogs pant during hot summer days using the concept of Evaporation.

You know dogs do not have sweat glands. How does they cool their bodies?


Answer :
  1. Evaporation : The escape of molecules from the surface of a liquid at any temperature is called “Evaporation”. It is a cooling process.
  2. By the Evaporation of sweat, human beings cool their bodies.
  3. Dogs do not have sweat glands like human beings.
  4. By panting, saliva evaporates from their tongue. This cools down their body.
